Between land, sea and air, the Camargue is an ideal region to practice multiple activities. Cycling, equestrian hikes, sailing, paddling, kitesurfing.
The Beauduc beach gives an impression of being one of its kind in the world in the middle of immense stretches of sand. That’s the reason why it is one the best kitesurfing spots in Europe, it is ideal to learn, to improve or simply to ride.
The bike paths track, the dykes to the sea to join the Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer, and the via-Rhôna that allows to descend the Rhone Valley from Geneva.
Because the triangle formed by the main agglomerations of the region is full of vestiges. From Roman Antiquity to the Middle Ages, Arles, Nimes and Aigues-Mortes retain strong architectural footprints: arenas, ramparts, forts, amphitheatres, religious buildings ... Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer, high place of Christian pilgrimage and gypsy, the church alone dominates the big blue.
It is also a human heritage; the rice fields, the salt marshes, the ornithological park, the horse breeders and the Camargue bulls, its ecosystem and Man’s place in nature.
At the mouth of the Rhone, the Camargue draws its surreal beauty, endless landscapes dotted with animals in the wild. Wild Nature. But Man’s hand is also everywhere. In his attempts to shape the marshes between the river and the sea, to raise dikes between heaven and earth, to control the salinity of water, to cultivate, to irrigate soils supposed to be infertile. To protect, safeguard, maintain, manage biodiversity and resources.
5 minutes from the house, you can cross the Rhone on foot, with the Bac Baccarin for free. 10 minutes by car, the area of the palisade, equestrian ride and hiking trails are offered, and you can access the beach of Piémanson. Within a distance of 100 meters, there are arenas in which you can attend Camargue races.

Nelly the host is a lovely and kind person, the breakfast was outstanding, the bed was very comfortable, the in-room shower was nice and the location is within close walking distance of town, shops and restaurants. Excellent value for the money.
Perfect place to enjoy La Camargue
Beautiful accomodation, perfect for enjoying nature, beaches, the salines and the park of La Camargue. Our room was in the second floor. It was well decorated, confortable and plenty of space, and with private shower although no private bathroom, something that it was not a big incovenient for us. The house was simply charming, with a big garden and parking facilities. The host was lovely and recommended us places to go for luch/dinner in the village. Great french breakfast. We will come back.
